Intoduction:

There has been a lot of global research on the economically viable use of wastes for engineering purposes as a result of the desire to reduce the cost of waste disposal and the rising expense of soil stabilizers. Due to the damaging impact these materials have on the environment and the health risks they pose, the safe disposal of industrial and agricultural waste products calls for immediate and cost-effective solutions.

Earth material is needed in extremely large quantities for infrastructure projects including roads, railroads, water reservoirs, reclamation, etc. Borrow earth must be transported from a great distance in urban areas since it is not readily available. Large regions are frequently covered in expansive, highly plastic soil that is unsuitable for this use.

Numerous researchers have conducted extensive laboratory and field tests, and the findings are promising for applying such expansive soil following stabilization with conventional stabilizing agents such as cement, lime, bitumen, etc.

An investigation into the stabilizing potential of groundnut shell ash in highly expansive soil has been prompted by the rising cost of conventional stabilizing agents and the need for the economically viable utilization of industrial and…
